About

After completing her PhD in 2013, Lucía joined the Psychiatric Genetics laboratory, where she applies statistical genetics to the study of individual differences in mental health, women’s health, the brain, and personality. She works across disorders to investigate their genetic foundations and their interaction with environmental factors.

She has received funding from Queensland Government to study perinatal PTSD and mental health in the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also a registered psychologist.
