About

Dr Sebastien Naze is an Early-Career Researcher specialising in computational brain modelling and neuroimaging data analysis. Dr Naze has extensive experience in simulating neural dynamics and brain disorders using state-of-the-art computational frameworks. Dr Naze worked on Epilepsy, creating multi-scale models of seizure genesis and propagation; Huntington’s disease, simulating the emergence of gamma frequencies in the striatum; Traumatic-Brain Injuries, assessing large scale neural disturbances associated with neurodegeneration; and Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), classifying electrographic responses to single-pulse stimuli using statistical and machine learning techniques.

Aside from his academic contributions, Dr Naze spent 5 years working in industrial R&D at IBM in New York, USA and Melbourne, AUS. There he gained unique technical knowledge which he brings to the clinical translation of his research.
