Steven Crooks finished a Bachelor of Science then Graduate Diploma in Clinical Microbiology in 1996. Since then, he has worked in the PC3 Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory and the Genetic Epidemiology Laboratory. He is currently the Supervisor of the QIMR Berghofer Cryogenics Facility.
Steven also provides support for the QIMR Berghofer PC3 Facility for the past 8 years including stepping in as the Facility Manager in Itaru’s absence. His extensive experience in the PC3 operations is invaluable and ensures that the facility operates the optimal way possible.
