QIMR Berghofer has been awarded seven National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) grants, that will help drive vital research in the areas of malaria, cancer and genomics, lupus and mental health.
The Investigator Grant scheme is the NHMRC’s largest funding scheme which awards around $370 million in research funding each year to support emerging and established leaders in health and medical research.
The grants are highly contested, providing a 5-year fellowship and research support for outstanding researchers at all career stages.
