High School Seminar Series
Our scientists love sharing their knowledge with the next generation of researchers. Each year, we host the High School Seminar Series where students can hear about the latest medical research discoveries, tour our state-of-the-art laboratories and investigate careers in science, all at no cost!
These sought after events are held in our auditorium and are attended by up to 600 senior science students from across South East Queensland. At the series, students will:
- engage with leading scientists as they share their latest research;
- tour a QIMR Berghofer laboratory;
- have their questions answered about careers in science and medical research.
Each event runs from 9:00am - 12.30pm.
Certificates of participation are available for teachers.
