QIMR Berghofer International Scientific Ambassadors Network (QISAN)
QIMR Berghofer’s National and Global Partnerships focus aims to expand the Institute’s reach through collaborative networks that span national and international markets.
Our objective
Many health-related challenges have a global nature and having networks across the world will support QIMR Berghofer to accelerate the development and translation of cutting-edge solutions to improve patient outcomes.
By leveraging these networks and creating a globally connected health and biomedical ecosystem, the Institute will gain access to untapped opportunities, including joint research and innovation programs, public and private sector funding, industry connections, and skills development. Further, activation of an international scientific community of practice through the QIMR Berghofer International Scientific Ambassadors Network (QISAN) will facilitate enhanced access to global best practices, complementary expertise, and human and economic capital.
QISAN aims to bring together a collective of cross-sector thought leaders to provide strategic guidance and leadership that facilitates impactful collaborative projects and funding initiatives. QISAN will focus on providing input for futuristic translational program development, knowledge enhancement, skills sharing, training opportunities, research discoveries, and the creation of next-generation, market-ready solutions. It aims to provide access to translational and industry-specific funds to achieve these objectives.
QISAN members will be invited to join through institutional partnerships.
